As you may have gathered by now, I am an avid traveller. When I am not out of town, I am sitting at home, plotting my next holiday. I truly believe I’m a better person when I am traveling. Honestly. I’m nicer, funnier, etc. I love everything about traveling. Even flying. (I sleep like a dead person on international flights.) Among those loves, of course, is shopping. What better way to make your friends and passersby envious than with one-of-a-kind items (often at a steal) acquired abroad? This outfit is a perfect example. I stumbled upon the top at a mall and the pants at the airport, both in Mumbai during my recent visit to India (trip details to follow). I kind of feel like a modern day I Dream of Jeanie in this getup. And here’s the beauty of it all. No longer must you glower at the jet-setting crowd. With the wonder that is the internet, you can purchase global wares from the comfort of your LA abode. Minus the jetlag. Score. Although, for me, I’ll take a good case of jetlag any day. It’s just a sign that I was off being a better person somewhere else.
