I was an overly cautious youngster. I never did a cartwheel, didn’t pierced anything besides the requisite earlobe and sat out the “Yay, we’re 18, let’s get tattoos!” romps of many of my peers. Though I look-both-ways a little less now, I still would not characterize myself as someone who plays it by Prison Rules: fast and loose. That being said, one place where I do feel free to color outside of the lines is in my wardrobe. I may never tag a wall, but that doesn’t mean I can’t wear a graffiti-emblazoned dress. At least, at the end of the day, I can take it off. I like to think of it as naughtiness for the non-committal.
