Few things delight me in life (and by life, I pretty much mean my closet) quite like ruffles and bows. (No, my closet is not my life. But, it is for the sake of the metaphor. So, just go with it.) Though some women may classify them as only appropriate for the younger set, I happen to disagree. When cut to the right size and shape, these frilly accouterments can adorn women of any age. I am of the mind that it’s not so much a matter of years as it is of taste. For me, the bigger the bow, the better. And, one ruffle? Make mine a double, please. Which is why I decided to make this ensemble a quadruple threat. Ruffles along the frock’s top and bottom, bows around my waist and toes. Because for me, once is never enough.
