Faux Free Spirit

I’d like to envision myself as a bit of a free spirit.  However, ask any of my nearest and dearest and I’m fairly certain they’d tell you the opposite.  I stick to somewhat of a routine and tend to habituate the same list of local haunts.  Every Saturday, if I’m in LA, you’re almost guaranteed to find me at Pilates, followed by a trip to Drybar and a stop-off at the local larder.  The one place where I’m able to throw caution to the wind is in my wardrobe.  By throwing on a wispy blouse, flared denim and platform sandals, I become the cool, go-with-the-flow girl that I so wish I could be.  Who cares that the look was completely calculated?  That’s our little secret.  To the rest of the world, I am a fly by the seat of her bellbottoms kind of gal.
