Do you have any outfits that make you excited to get dressed in the morning? You know the ones. The head-turning dresses with the envy-inducing heels. The ensembles that incite the oft repeated question of “Where did you get that?!” Well, this little getup is one of my aces in the hole, so to speak. I had been looking for the perfect white crop top and, when I came across this one by Viva Aviva, I was sold. Crisp and neutral, but in a league of it’s own with the fluttering panels. And, in my opinion, the key to nailing the crop top is to make sure just the right amount of midriff is bared. Enter these awesome shorts, waisted high enough to be modest whilst short enough to keep my legs looking long (ish). Their bold colors and blanket-like fabric are reminiscent of the throws sold on Olvera Street. I completed the look with a few basic, yet in no way boring, accessories. And just how do I know this outfit works? Because the first time I put it on, my friends said, “You have to blog about that!” Nailed it.
