You know when you see those celebrities on the red carpet where you’re thinking, “Why on earth would they wear that?” Well, this is a much less glamorous example of that. I am not a big fan of how these photos turned out. There. I said it. I love about 99% of the content I publish, but I just don’t love these shots. I thought about scrapping the look all together; the thing is, this outfit is actually really cute in person. The clashing prints work well together in a model-off-duty sort of way. And, believe it or not, I’ve received positive responses from the opposite sex when sporting this style. But, for whatever reason (most likely the fact that everything is oversized), it just didn’t translate on camera. Which is why I mention those red carpet dresses. Chances are that they looked fabulous in person, but not so much onscreen. Just like this quirky get-up. But, the fact of the matter is that, in real life, I have some very cute pieces that probably don’t photograph well. And that’s ok. I’m still gonna wear them. And you should, too. I probably won’t blog about them again. Because they don’t make for pretty pictures. And no one wants to see that.
