I have a small fixation with the circus. It is in no way an obsession, which merits being said as I have been known to harbor an obsession or twenty. Merely a long-held interest. And it’s not even that I enjoy visiting the big top. I honestly haven’t been in longer than I can remember and have no intention of attending in the near future. But that hasn’t stopped me from googling “vintage circus” on more than a few occasions. And every time I drive by one of the striped tents, I can’t help but slow down. There is just something about the brightly colored, traveling entertainment that I find both strange and mesmerizing. Which is why I was so tickled to come across this darling frock from my favorite vintage source, Shareen Vintage. The bows and elephant pockets are reminiscent of a little girl on a ferris wheel. But, when paired with some ladylike accessories, it becomes fit for someone who can stay out well past curfew.
