As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I find wardrobe inspiration in a myraid of places, be it travel, sculpture, literature or elsewhere. But today’s outfit was inspired by something a bit more straightforward- my fellow bloggers. In an incredibly saturated market, there are a ton of women and men doing the same thing as me. As many of them are extremely stylish, it’s difficult not to be influenced by their daily posts, both fashion and otherwise. I noticed a number of bloggers pairing the classic white button down with denim, like megabloggers Sincerely, Jules and Song of Style. I loved the idea of putting my own spin on this otherwise plain canvas. I rolled the shorts and tied the shirt to add some femininity to this somewhat masculine silhouette. And then I added an embelished necklace (first seen here) and leopard heels (also seen here and here) for a touch of glam. The pièce de résistance? My darling Papillon. A look inspired by others with, a few simple twists, becomes entirely my own.
