One of the cool things about clothing is that some of it is quite literally wearable art. That’s part of the reason I love jewelry design. (See a few of my bracelets here, here and here.) It’s nice to be able to wear your artwork and not just display it on the wall. Side note- nothing makes a better gift than a homemade item. Keep in mind that, as an adult, your craft better be halfway decent. No pasta-based jewelry. But, yet again, I’ve traveled off-topic. This Kelly Wearstler skirt reminds me of the paper marbling classes I took as a child (yes, I was that kid). I don’t know that I was quite as good as this skirt. But, let’s face it. It makes a much better statement than that macaroni necklace.
