To answer Michael Jackson’s question, I choose both. In that spirt, when deciding between a boldly patterned trench or shift, I again say both! Why choose between cake or ice cream when you can have both?! Okay, I realize that one has absolutely nothing to do with the other, but you see my point. Sometimes less is more, but other times more is more. And, when it comes to pattern mixing and matching, I tend to favor the later. Truthfully, when it comes to most facets of my life, I am of the more is more mindset. One step into my closet or peek in my jewelry box and you know that I am a creature of excess. As much as I try to streamline, there is just too much I like out there. I have a hard time saying no. Which brings me back to this outfit. When I tried to decide between the coat and dress, I just couldn’t. So, like so much else in my life, I chose both.
