For me, the days between Halloween and New Year’s represent a few things. First, a multitude of opportunities to see the people I love most. Second, even more chances to overeat. And last, but certainly not least, a bevy of occasions for which I can dress up. As I’m sure I’ve mentioned before, I absolute love getting dolled up. Sometimes, I’ll wear pumps and a frock to the grocery store just because. Needless to say, I will be putting my best, high-heeled foot forward when it comes to getting ready for this season’s soirées. Nothing makes a gal stand out at a party quite like a statement-making, one-of-a-kind dress. While I have many current pieces, I believe that you can never go wrong with vintage. Not only are people typically impressed when you tell them your dress was thrifted (don’t ask me why, you’re literally wearing someone else’s clothes), but it also assures that you will be the only one wearing said dress. Win, win. With it’s polka dots and tulle underskirt, this dress is a sure crowd-pleaser. With the addition of the festive, red bow, your presence really will be their present.
