When it comes to exercise, I am a bit of a tramp. Let me explain. I have a difficult time staying faithful to any one type of fitness. There were the six months of spin classes, five days a week. (Conveniently, the week I got certified to teach, I decided that spinning was not for me.) The month that I loved all things barre. Until I didn’t. And who can forget my on-and-off affair with hiking? I can, as I haven’t hiked in months. Let’s hope that this behavior is not indicative of my ability to stay faithful in other avenues of my life. But that is neither here nor there. The reason that I detail my inability to stay true to one type of exercise is because there is finally a program that caters to commitaphobes such as myself. ClassPass is a monthly membership where you can take as many fitness classes as your little muscles can handle, all for $99 a month. And trust me when I say that there are more than enough workouts to ensure you never get bored. Heck, this service encourages you to cheat! Last week alone, I took boot camp, yoga, boxing, ballet and two types of Pilates. Perfect for my exercise ADD. Another plus? ClassPass is not exclusive to LA; you can also check it out in New York, Boston, Seattle, San Diego, Chicago, Washington D.C. and San Francisco. They are adding new studios and locations constantly. And, just yesterday, they announced that you will be able to use your ClassPass when you travel to other participating cities. Which means that there will be no excuses to slack off during the holidays. Which is awesome/sucks. But hey. You’ll be way ahead of the game come New Year’s resolution time. You’re welcome.
P.S. I’m not sponsored by ClassPass. I just love it.
P.P.S. Stay tuned next week for my top new LA workout studios.Sample schedule
