Despite common misconception, I do not always feel overwhelmed with sartorial inspiration when I arise. I, like most people, sometimes look at my closet, overstuffed as it may be, and think to myself, “I have nothing to wear.” Which, if you’re familiar with my blog or my closet, know is absolutely ludicrous. I have more than enough options to wear a different outfit every day for, if I were creative enough, years. But, I don’t. Depending on the season, I rely on a series of go-to looks to get me through those days where I have nothing to wear. This sort of style is on current rotation. Skinny jeans and booties with a t-shirt and oversized sweater ensure that I don’t have to put too much thought into looking stylish. Because sometimes I just don’t have it in me. The thought, I mean. Not the style. I have that in me in spades.
