Last week’s post was all about giving good hair. This week, it’s all about the face. I’ve been acting on and off for years. As every actor knows, even the best looking among us needs a little work before stepping in front of the camera. Those bright lights bring out spots and crevices you had no idea existed. Plus, you have the added benefit of seeing said imperfections on repeat given the miracle that is modern technology. Add that to the fact that cameras are so high definition now, you can literally see pores on your pores. It isn’t pretty. So, professional makeup was a no-brainer for me when I started blogging. When I decided that I was going to be blasting my likeness into cyberspace for (hopefully) many to see, I knew that I wanted to look as flawless as possible. Luckily, Blushington makes this happen. Much like Drybar, you are guaranteed a beautiful makeup application every time. They offer a bevy of looks to choose from, but I typically go bespoke and request that they make me as pretty as possible. Like myself, but better. And I think they do a darn good job. Professional makeup may not be for every day, but for photo shoots, Saturday nights and special occasions, why not? It’s like I always say. “If you can, why wouldn’t you?”
P.S. Today’s images are thanks to the lovely girls at Blushington Los Angeles.
