I am forever over-dressed. My motto is that it is better to be over-dressed than under-dressed. Case in point- yesterday, I went to a sport’s bar wearing some version of this. In my defense, I don’t typically frequent such establishments. I was clearly out of place amongst the team jerseys and t-shirts. Frankly though, I didn’t really care. I knew (more or less) how people dressed at athletic events. But, as it most often does, my love of dolling-up far outweighed any need to fit in. Which is one of the reasons I leapt on this incredible Vivian Chan dress a couple of months ago. “But, where will I wear it?” never entered my thoughts. Most likely because my mind was screaming, “Where WON’T I wear it?!” I didn’t deem this look sport’s bar appropriate (don’t think that won’t stop me though), but I can’t wait to wear it everywhere else. Check out what a great dog walking outfit it made here for an evening stroll along the Venice Canals. If this is what I wear to walk the dog, just imagine what I put on when I’m actually supposed to dress-up!
