One thing I love about DTLA is it’s bold sense of style. It’s very much that “I don’t care, but really I care a lot” type of aesthetic, of which I happen to be a fan and frequent participant. Just don’t expect anyone here to admit to this type of dressing because that’s simply not cool. How do I know that Downtowners really do care? It’s all in the details. Sure, she may be wearing a t-shirt and jeans. But, notice how the denim is worn and torn just so? And she’s done the perfect half-tuck with her tee? These details are no accident, my friend. Check out my not-so-nonchalant approach on today’s ensemble. Just a random smattering of prints, right? Wrong! Though my romper is predominately black, I used the white stitching to guide my accessory selections. Hence, the black and white bag and heels. And, to break up the bare décolletage, I added a body chain for a hint of sparkle. Calculated? Definitely. Not that I’d ever fess up to it. Don’t forget. I’m a local.
