As I mentioned a couple of week’s ago, I am embarking on a new adventure. That is if you can call sitting at a desk an adventure. Perhaps a change in lifestyle is more accurate. Either way, a new adventure or lifestyle calls for an adaptation of many of one’s everyday habits. Gone is the flexibility to workout at 11 am. Likewise, the luxury of scheduling my appointments for “whenever.” And man how is miss the days when crop tops and overalls were considered appropriate workwear. On the plus side, I am enjoying the exploration of an entirely new wardrobe style- business casual. Up until this point, business casual was a term reserved to categorize audition wardrobe. Quite frankly, it is probably my least favorite category. The fact of the matter is, you’re not going to catch me in a polo and khakis unless I’m in a national commercial (ie. you’re compensating me heavily). As I am not earning residuals at my current place of employ, I’m putting my own spin on the traditional office-wear. Best that I can tell, work-appropriate essentially boils down to not to sloppy and not too much skin. This romper may be pushing the envelope a bit, but that’s never stopped me before.
