As mentioned in previous posts, I’ve recently entered the working world. I mean, I’ve been steadily employed for years. But, up until about a month ago, my work uniform was pretty much Lululemon, something a stylist pulled or whatever I felt like wearing. Well, times have changed. I have tried to wear whatever I felt like and promptly received a lecture about showing too much skin in the workplace. And spandex is a definite no-no. So I’m trying to dress as appropriately as possible while remaining true to my style. In my downtime, I’m gravitating towards comfort. This usually means sweatpants at night (so much for style) and a sundress or cutoffs on the weekend. Right now, I loving the look of low-end cutoffs with a high-end top. It gives the impression that I’ve put a little bit of thought into my appearance, while still remaining relaxed and comfy. Which is exactly what I’m craving after a long week.
